Overview

Deccan Odyssey, one of the best luxury and royal trains of India. A truly regal train, 
Indian Odyssey with immense royal luxury and warmth is ready to experience you through the most fascinating destinations of India. 

Journey experiences India's rich history that is preserved in monuments and historical structures. Journey starts from Delhi followed by a visit to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur, City of Taj, Jaipur (Pink city), Udaipur (city of lakes), Vadodara and Aurangabad. Experience the true colors of Incredible India travelling through luxury trains for 8 Days.
Itinerary
Arrive at the Delhi railway station by 2015 hours to complete the check in formalities and registration process for your luxury train journey. 

Welcome in a Indian  traditional way with a sip of refreshing welcome drink  
aboard the Deccan Odyssey by train staff. 

Dinner on board and night stay on Deccan Odyssey, as the train proceeds for Sawai Madhopur.
Today, get ready for a thrilling experience at one of the largest national parks in India with a large population of Tigers. 

Morning enjoy breakfast, then proceed for a drive to Ranthambore National Park.

After enjoying your wildlife tour and game drive, return back to the luxury train. 

Enjoy your lunch onboard and later leave for a village safari.

Explore the rural life of Rajasthan at Sawai Madhopur.  

Later, visit the Sawai Madhopur Lodge for a cup of tea / coffee, a former hunting lodge of the royal family of Jaipur. 

Then return back to the luxury train to relax. Enjoy dinner with your drink onboard, as the train leaves for Agra city.
Morning delicious breakfast on board, proceed to visit The Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. 

Lunch at Agra deluxe hotel. 

Later visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, a marble mausoleum, the structure is also known as 'Baby Taj' as it resembles the Taj Mahal. 

Visit Agra Fort, which is considered one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. 

Evening visit the local market and shop for Mughal ornaments and artifacts.

Later return back to your luxury train. Dinner onboard, as your train leaves for Jaipur. Night stay onboard.
Jaipur, known as the pink city. 

The beautiful pink city represents the true colors of Royal Rajasthan with its rich culture, heritage forts and palaces.

Breakfast on board and then proceed to the Amber Fort, one of the biggest forts of India.  

Then, visit the Palace of Winds, also known as the Hawa Mahal. The Palace offers a spectacular view of the Jaipur city and is built of pink sandstone.

Later, visit City Palace, a palace which is a beautiful complex of alluring palaces, gardens and courtyards. 
 
Delicious lunch at the City hotel.

Evening explore local markets of Jaipur famous for handicrafts, gems, carpets etc.   

Then return to the luxury train for dinner onboard, as the departs for Udaipur city.

Night stay onboard.
The luxury train reaches the city of lakes, Udaipur in the morning, on the shore of the lake Pichola. 

After breakfast onboard, then proceed to begin with Udaipur city tour. 

Visit the famous City Palace, Crystal Gallery, board a ferry to ride on Lake Pichola to reach Jagmandir. 

Lunch at Jagmandir Palace with the sounds of the Tabla and unique Jal Tarang entertain and amaze you in the romantic ambiance of Udaipur.

After lunch, return back to the luxury train. 

Later, leave for an evening walking tour to the Old City of Udaipur. Famous for handicrafts like puppets, wall hangings, jewellery, paintings, wooden boxes, pottery and brassware. 

Enjoy your dinner and night stay onboard, as the luxury train departs for Vadodara.
Enjoy breakfast on board. 

Then proceed to visit Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later visit the Jami Masjid (Great Mosque).

Return back for a delicious lunch, onboard the Deccan Odyssey.

Later visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. Savor high tea at the palatial Laxmi Vilas Palace, the palace is a residence of the Royal family. 

Return to the luxury train for dinner, as the train leaves for Aurangabad.

Night stay on Deccan Odyssey.
Today we reached Aurangabad. It is Home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ellora Caves, Aurangabad. 

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast onboard followed by some entertaining activities. Later, enjoy your lunch on board. 

Then leaves for the Ellora Caves, one of the finest examples of rock cut architecture, which have 12 Buddhist caves, 17 Hindu caves and the 5 Jain caves. 

The main attraction here for housing the Kailash temple, which is believed to be a replica of Shiva's celestial abode on Mt. Kailash. 

After sightseeing around Ellora Caves, return to the luxury train. 

 Dinner on board. 

Night stay on a luxury train.
Enjoy breakfast on board and then disembark at Mumbai Railway Station. 

As the journey comes to complete at Mumbai with sweet memories.

  • Cost are per Cabin per Journey.
  • Presidential Suite can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (Applicable for Children below 12 years)
  • 5% GST (Govt. Tax) additional
  • Prices are subject to change incase of price hikes such as fuel, taxes etc.
  • Child rates are applicable from 6 to 12 years.

  • Pre and Post tour accommodation and any tour extensions unless specifically mentioned as a part of the journey.

    Child Policy
  • One child up to 5 years of age shall be allowed free of cost in the Deluxe Cabin, subject to sharing of double bed with parents. This is subject to availability of double bed at the time of booking.
  • For families, with a child between 6-12 years of age, or, with two children with one child below 5 years and another between 6-12 years, we recommend the Presidential Suite which has a double bed in the bedroom and can be shared with a child below 5 years and a sofa cum bed in the living room which can accommodate the older child. In this case, the child/children will be accommodated free of cost.
  • In case of two children between 6-12 years of age travelling with their parents, you will have to take 2 cabins. The first child pays 25% of the adult fare and the second child will have to pay 50% of the adult fare. One of the parents will have to be present with the child / children in the cabin.
  • Please note that we do not have the facility for interconnecting cabins.
  • All applicable taxes will be charged extra.

    Booking Policy
  • Pay 20% of ticket value at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Balance 80% of the ticket value is to be paid 45 days before departure.

    Cancellation Policy
  • Any cancellation must be advised immediately by Email.
  • If the cancellation is made 60 days prior to departure, no cancellation charges.
  • 20% of ticket value 45-59 days prior to departure.
  • 50% of ticket value 30-44 days prior to departure.
  • 100% ticket value will be retained, if cancelled 29 days prior to commencement of Train journey.
