After a delicious breakfast, the Golden Triangle and Amritsar Tour departs towards the city of Delhi for some sightseeing.
The first destination is the Laxmi narayan Temple, better known as the Birla Mandir. It is a beautiful temple that houses Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi, both of whom are worshipped fondly by Hindus.
The next place is the World Heritage Site of Delhi, the Qutub Minar. This lovely 73 meter tall minister did the biggest brick minaret in the whole world. It was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak.
The next destination is Rajghat, the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. While driving to Rajghat, the tour will drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House) and the Indian Parliament. At Rajghat, give your respects to one of the greatest sons of India, Mahatma Gandhi. Also visit Shanti Van, the final testing place of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
As afternoon approaches, visit Connaught Place, a hustling and bustling market where you will find some of Delhi’s best restaurants.

After that, the tour departs towards the India Gate, a monument constructed by the English to commemorate the sacrifice of the soldiers of the Indian subcontinent in World War 1. From here, go towards Humayun's tomb, a beautiful monument where the Mughal Emperor Humayun has been laid to rest. It is actually the monument which inspired the architecture of the Taj Mahal !
As the day comes to an end, move towards the Red fort and enjoy an amazing ‘Light and Sound show’. Tour the whole fort to learn more about the history of Mughals.
