There are several beautiful monuments that you could explore such as the Buland Darwaza that was built when Akbar won his Gujarat campaign, the palace of Jodha, Akbar’s favourite queen and Birbal's palace, Akbar’s favourite courtier.

After this, start back on the road towards Jaipur. As soon as you reach there, check in to the hotel and rest for a while.

Afterwards, head out for a sightseeing tour. The first place to visit is the City Palace complex, the place where the Royal family of Jaipur still lives. After the early morning breakfast, head towards the beautiful Amber fort, which is about 11kms away from the main city. The palace is situated near the Maota Lake and makes up for a beautiful view.

In the morning hours, you can also enjoy the lovely elephant rides outside the palace. You will be getting to click some of the most beautiful photographs of the city from the Amber palace.

The next destination on the list is the Hawa Mahal. This beautifully constructed palace is famous for its 953 windows, also known as ‘jharokhas’. This palace was made for the queens and princesses of Jaipur so that they can observe the whole city and its markets from these windows. Now go tour the city. The first two destinations the tour will be visiting are Tarn Taran and Goindwal. Both these places are historically very significant to the Sikhs all around the world. Not only that, their sleek architecture makes them an amazing place to visit, especially the Tarn Taran Sahib. The foundations of this place was actually laid by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjun Dev Ji in the year 1596. While you’re there, do not miss the chance to visit the Tarn Taran Sahib Gurudwara.

People from all over the world come and visit here. Pray at the Golden Temple for all your loved ones.

After that, head out towards the Jallianwala Bagh, a place of historical importance in the Indian freedom struggle. It is the place where British General Michael Dyer massacred thousands of peaceful gatherers who gathered to celebrate a festival. The memory is still fresh in the minds of every Indian, and this place is the evidence of that. The bullet marks on the walls are still left as it is.

As evening approaches, visit the famous Wagah Border, where both the Indian and Pakistani troops parade against each other in the most competitive of ways. The whole parade lasts for about 45 minutes, after which the soldiers of both the nations retreat.
