The second day of tour will be exciting and adventurous.

Today the tour will go out for sightseeing in Delhi. In itself, Delhi is one of the most amazing and diverse cities in the whole world. Since times immemorial, it has been ruled by different dynasties from different cultures at different points of time, because of which one can find cultural and architectural diversity in the city like no other city.

Delhi has 2 main areas - Old Delhi and New Delhi

Old Delhi is that area which contains all the historical and architectural beauty of different eras of Delhi. It is the place that tells us about the times which this city stood by.

New Delhi is the area that speaks about the newer times. It speaks of robust development and modern architecture, which shows just how far India as a nation has come.

Just after a scrumptious breakfast, the tour heads out for sightseeing in the city of Delhi. Proceed with the touring and come up to the center of the city for visiting Rajghat-the commemoration and cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi. The black marble complex which is put up in the middle is the actual place of Gandhiji. It is surrounded by green grass and trees that were planted by famous personalities such as US President and World War 2 leader Eisenhower and Queen Elizabeth II. Following this is the visit to the greatest mosque of India, the Jama Masjid. It was raised in the sixteenth century by Shah Jahan. This sandstone and white marble structure can hold around 25000 people at one time. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is made up of red sandstone and has a nice blend of Persian and Islamic architecture.

After this, the tour departs for a visit to some other destinations of Delhi. One of the most beautiful places in Delhi that you can visit is Humayun's tomb. Humayun was a Mughal King and his tomb is made up of red sandstone and has beautiful gardens. In fact, it inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.

Qutub Minar, which is situated in the south part of Delhi is the biggest brick minaret in the world. This UN World Heritage Site is going to mesmerize you.

While sightseeing, you will also be able to shop in the streets of Delhi all along.

While driving by these locations, you will also be driving by some iconic political buildings such as the Indian Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Diplomatic enclaves.

Stay for the night at the hotel.
As soon as you are done with your breakfast on the third day, the tour heads towards Jaipur by road. The city of Jaipur is also known as ‘Pink City’ for its pink colored heritage buildings. Jaipur is also the biggest city in the state of Rajasthan, and its capital too.

The journey from Jaipur to Delhi is about 270 kilometers long.

After reaching Jaipur, you would be assisted to your hotel for a check-in, and you can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

You can either recuperate for the day or you could go out on your own and explore the hustling and bustling colorful bazaars of this beautiful city.

The fort offers both Elephant and jeep rides in the morning. Start towards Jaigarh fort from there. This fort, which is only some kilometers away from the Amber fort offers a wonderful view of the whole city. This fort, which was constructed to save the city from external attacks is considered to be a great place for photographers to capture some amazing images of the city.

Jantar Mantar is the next place for the tour to visit. It is an astronomical observatory which has some really precise astronomical instruments which the king of Jaipur got constructed.

The Birla Mandir, also known as the Laxmi Narayan temple is the next destination to visit. It is a beautiful modern day structure built out of white marble, the same as the Birla Mandir in Delhi.

There is a beautiful museum in the palace where you can look at some amazing artefacts whilst also visiting places such as Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal.

From Jaipur, you will be departing for Agra.

The tour, which is the Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho Varanasi Package will be travelling about 243 kilometers, but on the way the tour will be making a quick stop at Fatehpur Sikri

The city of Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of India. It was built by Emperor Akbar, but was unfortunately abandoned later due to the scarcity of water. There are a lot of different places that you can visit in Fatehpur Sikri.

First and foremost, be ready to be greeted by the ‘Buland Darwaza' or the ‘Mega Gateway'. This magnanimous arched gateway was constructed on the orders of Akbar to commemorate his victory in the province of Gujarat. The height of Buland Darwaza is about 55 meters. There is also the huge Jama Masjid and there is also the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Birbal’s Palace, Mariam-uz-Zamani's Palace and Panch Mahal are some of the other places you can visit here.

Do not forget to visit the Jodha's palace. Jodha was the favourite queen of Emperor Akbar, and her palace is something which you must see.

After you’re done with that, get back on the road towards Agra. When you reach it, get an assisted check in to the hotel, where you will be spending the rest of the day.

Either stay for the day there or go out and visit the markets of Agra that have some amazing local handicrafts waiting for you.
It would be really good if you wake up early on the sixth day of your tour, proceeds towards the lovely and beautiful Taj Mahal and look at it during the sunrise

Made completely out of white marble, the Taj Mahal is the First Wonder of the World. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, and stands as an epitome of his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal who died during childbirth. It is actually a mausoleum where Shah Hagan’s wife rests peacefully. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is the best example of the famed Islamic architectural style.

After this, come back to the hotel to freshen up and have your breakfast. From there, the tour goes back to sightseeing in Agra.

The first place in this second round of sightseeing will be the beautiful and literally gigantic Agra Fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is built completely out of red sandstone and contains some beautiful structures. It has some really intricate structures like Diwan-I-Am and Diwan-I-Khas in the interiors of it.

You can end the sightseeing tour in the evening by visiting the Itmad-ud-Daula's tomb. This is a beautiful mausoleum which looks quite a lot like the Taj Mahal, due to which it is also called ‘Baby Taj'.

Stay for the night at the hotel in Agra.
The seventh day of your Golden Triangle with Khajuraho Varanasi Package will involve a good amount of road travel.

As soon as you’re done with your breakfast, you will be taken to the railway station, from where you’ll be boarding the train to Jhansi.

From Jhansi, there’s an 18 kilometer road trip to Orchha. At Orchha, the tour makes a small pit stop. The town of Orchha is situated in the Bundelkhand region of India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was once a Princely State during the British era. Now, it is a place that contains some of India’s oldest temples, palaces, forts and other sites of the same nature.

Some of the prominent places which you can visit are the Jahangir Mahal of Orchha, a brilliant Mughal architectural masterpiece, the Raj Mahal of Orchha, which is the palace of the royal family of Orchha and finally the Laxmi Narayan Temple, which is very famous for its beautiful mural paintings.

After being done with the tour of Orchha, get back again on the road towards Khajuraho, which is about 172 kilometers away from your place of departure. As soon as you reach Khajuraho, you will be checking in at the hotel which has been pre booked for you.

It will be an evening by the time you reach Khajuraho, so stay overnight at the hotel.
On day 8 of your wonderful Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho Varanasi Package, you will be having a lot of fun.

In the morning, the tour will be heading out to explore the beautiful temples of Khajuraho, many of whom are World Heritage Sites. The city of Khajuraho is divided into Eastern and Western parts, and is best known for its Jain and Hindu temple clusters that are located all around the city.

You will be leaving for the tour just after your breakfast. The first place of visit would be the Laxmi Temple and the Varaha Temple. Devi Laxmi is an important Hindu Goddess who is worshipped all across India, whereas Lord Varaha is an incarnation of the Hindu God Lord Vishnu.

From here, the next place to visit will be the Kandariya Mahadev temple. Dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Shiva, it is one of the oldest and the biggest temples in Khajuraho which has some really archaic and intricate stone carvings, which when counted amount to 900 in total. A staggering figure indeed. From here, head on towards the Devi Jagdambi temple. The Devi Jagdambi Temple is basically a cluster of about 25 old temples that have been beautifully decorated. They are dedicated to Goddess Jagdambe, a form of Devi Laxmi and were constructed between the 10th to the 12th century under the rule of the Chandella dynasty. They are very popular due to their erotic carvings which are found everywhere around the temple.

Once you’re done with the tour at Khajuraho, the tour representative will take you towards the airport, from where you will be boarding a flight to Varanasi.

After you arrive in Varanasi, get ready for an assisted check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free and you can choose to spend it whichever way you want.

Stay for the night at your hotel.
For some people, the ninth day of the Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi might be the most interesting one.

In the morning, you will be going on a boat ride in the holy river Ganga. It will be an unforgettable experience for you.

After the boat ride, you will be going back to the hotel for breakfast, from where you would be heading to Sarnath. It is one of the holiest locations in the whole world, known for the sermon delivered by Lord Buddha right after he achieved enlightenment. It is an extremely sacred place, and lies on the confluence of two rivers, Ganga and Gomati.

Some of the most popular destinations here are Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Chaukhandi Stupa, which many tourists love to visit.

After that, return back to Varanasi.

Here, you will be visiting first the Alamgir Mosque, a mosque which was built by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It has a lot of Islamic influence and has a very lovely blend of Islamic and Hindu architecture. It is also known as Beni Madhav Kat Dare.

Varanasi is a city which has both Islamic and Hindu culture thriving in itself, and this mosque is the perfect example of its culture.

After that, you will be visiting the spectacular Dashashwamedh Ghat. Legend has it that this ghat was created by Lord Brahma on the command of Lord Shiva. This is one of the main ghats of Varanasi and is quite near the Vishwanath Temple.

After this, come back to the hotel and stay there for the night.
On the tenth day of your Golden Triangle with Khajuraho Varanasi Package, you will be taken back to the Varanasi airport, from where you would be taken to Delhi via a flight.

As soon as you land, you will be taken to a hotel where you will be checking in and staying there for the night.
