Overview

Travel through and bring to light, the magnificence of India with the Indian Splendor tour itinerary on board Asia's most sumptuous train, The Maharajas Express. 

This pleasing special crafted tour program lasting approximately 168 hours, takes the guest on a something so fascinating journey across some of the most incredible tourist destinations in India to familiarize the guests with the Indian culture, heritage and variation of this incredible India. 

Itinerary designed to experience awesome heritage forts and palaces, wildlife and unique ancient temples of medieval India.
Itinerary
Warm welcome at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station by the crew of The Maharajas’ Express then complete the check in formalities to board the luxury train. 

On arrival at Agra, deboard the train and proceed for an excursion to the Agra Fort. The fort is a fine example of Mughal architecture that gets marked on the hearts and minds of the travelers forever. 

Evening free at leisure.

Brunch and dinner will be served onboard. Nightstay on the luxury train.
Early in the morning at sunrise, proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, (one of the Seven Wonders of the World). It took around 22 years to build this beautiful architecture. Precious stones, tessellate work, jalis and many other such elements were used to build the mausoleum (also UNESCO World Heritage Site).

After visiting Taj Mahal, return to the train and leave for Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur). 

Delicious lunch at a royal restaurant on the board. 

After reaching Sawai Madhopur, leaves for an fascinating game drive, in search of a Tiger at Ranthambore National Park, one of India's largest national parks famous for its tiger population.

Dinner will be served onboard, then the train leaves tonight for Jaipur (Pink City) to our next destination.
Breakfast served on board. 

After a relaxed breakfast, disembark to proceed to visit the famous Amber Fort, which is famous for its artistic style elements and most visited forts in India. 

Experience Elephant ride and explore the Amber fort, return back to the luxury train to enjoy a delicious lunch. 

Night stay in train, as it proceeds to Bikaner.
Enjoy breakfast onboard. 

After reaching Bikaner, spend some time as per your choice the facilities of the trains such as the spa. 

Lunch will be served onboard, after having lunch leave for the Junagarh Fort which was built in the twentieth century and the star attraction of the Bikaner. 

 Afterward, enjoy bar-be-cue in the Sand Dunes while sunset. 

Return to the luxury train and relax. 

Stay overnight onboard, the train leaves for Jodhpur.
Breakfast and Lunch served onboard. 

Then proceed to Mehrangarh Fort (The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's largest forts, overlooking the complete city from the fort). 

Evening, get ready for a lavish dinner. Night stay on board and train leaves for Udaipur (The city of Lakes).  
As the train reaches Udaipur, have breakfast on board. 

Proceed the sixth day, by boating on Lake Pichola and visit City Palace. Enjoy lunch at an exclusive venue in the heart of Udaipur.

Return to the comforts of your luxury train and free to spend the evening as per your choice.

Night stay in Maharajas’ Express. Dinner served onboard as the train leaves for Mumbai.
The train arrives in Mumbai from Udaipur at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Breakfast is served onboard.

With great happy memories, deboard the luxury train Maharajas’ Express.

  • 5% GST (Govt. Tax) that will be charged extra. 
  • Optional Tours are on chargeable basis and are subject to availability. 
  • Kindly note, confirmed bookings are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

    Inclusions
  • The tariff, includes accommodation, meals, beverages (light drinks, tea, coffee, and mineral water).
  •  Indian wines (in house brands), butler service, and porter-age at stations.
  • Guided tours and entrance fees at monuments.

    Exclusions
  • The tariff however does not include taxes, insurances, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry, and fees of video and professional cameras.

    Booking Policy
  • If booking is done prior to 90 days of departure or more, then 25% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Remaining 75% of ticket value can be paid 60 days prior to departure.
  • If booking is done less than 60 days of departure or less, then full 100% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.

    Cancellation Policy
  • If cancelled 60 days or more prior to departure date, then 25% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  • If cancelled 45-59 days prior to departure date, then 50% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  • If cancelled 0-44 days prior to departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted. 
  • If you fail to show up on the departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted.
