Itinerary
Our representative will assist in completing the check-in formalities at the Delhi, Safdarjung railway station with a traditional welcome in Indian style and settle into your pre-booked cabins in advance. While enjoying the welcome drinks offered, the luxury train proceeds for the first destination, Jaipur known as 'Pink City' of Rajasthan.

Delicious Dinner on board and night stay at Maharajas’ Express train.
In the morning, the train arrives at Jaipur (Pink city). Breakfast on board, then de-board the train to enjoy an elephant safari up to the entrance of the Amber Fort, the other option is a Jeep ride.

Visit the Amber Fort, a World Heritage Site. The fort is famous and known for its architecture and beautiful ambiance. 

Lunch is organized onboard.

As per your interest and choice, evening is free for the leisure activities where you can enjoy the comforts of the luxury train. 

Dinner on board. Then, the train leaves for its next destination Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore). Night stay on the luxury train.
Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur), one of the well-known beautiful cities of Rajasthan. 

Today, get ready for a thrilling adventure experience, a game drive at Ranthambore National Park, one of the largest Tiger reserves in India. 

 After experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat, return to your luxury train and enjoy the breakfast as the train proceeds for Fatehpur Sikri. 

Enjoy the lunch onboard and get ready to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO world heritage site. Return back to Maharaja's express for dinner and Night stay on the luxury train.
Morning the luxury train enters the city of Taj Mahal, in Agra. Then proceed to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal. 

The Taj Mahal was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and is a pure white marble monument, a masterpiece of brilliant architecture that attracts a lot of travelers to India.

After the Taj Mahal visit, an indelible breakfast break is planned. return back on board for delicious lunch and in the evening proceed for a tour to Agra Fort in Agra. 

Train proceeds to the next destination. Night stay on the luxury train.
Enjoy breakfast on-board.

Then, get ready to explore Orchha and return back on the train. 

The luxury train now proceeds to your next destination, Khajuraho. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Khajuraho Group of Monuments. 

Visit (the Western group of temples) the Khajuraho Temples, these are the group of Jain and Hindu temples, built by the Chola rulers. 

 Return back on board to enjoy dinner and for a night stay. 

Afterwards, a luxury train leaves for Varanasi.
Morning breakfast and lunch on board. 

On arrival at Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in India. Then de-board the luxury train for a Varanasi sightseeing tour. 

Visit the famous Silk weaving center, a manufacturing industry where weaving is done within the local household. 

Then proceed to visit the Sarnath ruins and museum. At the deer park in Sarnath is a place where Buddha delivered his first speech. Explore Sarnath, famous for Buddhist monuments and edifices. 

Evening, leave to experience Aarti, the river worship ceremony. While boat riding on River Ganges to witness the magnificent evening aarti. 

Then return back to the luxury train which proceeds to Delhi. 

Dinner and night stay on the luxury train.
Today is the end of your blissful Maharajas’ Express journey with sweet memories. 

Enjoy the breakfast and lunch on board. 

As you arrive at Delhi station, deboard at the station in Delhi.

  • 5% GST (Govt. Tax) that will be charged extra.
  • Optional Tours are on chargeable basis and are subject to availability. 
  • Kindly note, confirmed bookings are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

    Inclusions
  • The tariff, includes accommodation, meals, beverages (light drinks, tea, coffee, and mineral water).
  •  Indian wines (in house brands), butler service, and porter-age at stations.
  • Guided tours and entrance fees at monuments.

    Exclusions
  • The tariff however does not include taxes, insurances, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry, and fees of video and professional cameras.

    Booking Policy 
  • If booking is done prior to 90 days of departure or more, then 25% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Remaining 75% of ticket value can be paid 60 days prior to departure.
  • If booking is done less than 60 days of departure or less, then full 100% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.

    Cancellation Policy
  • If cancelled 60 days or more prior to departure date, then 25% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  • If cancelled 45-59 days prior to departure date, then 50% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  • If cancelled 0-44 days prior to departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  • If you fail to show up on the departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted.
