Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Leh

Arrival at the Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport), pick up and transfer to the pre booked hotel. Day free for leisure and body acclimatization. Evening proceed to visit Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and Leh local market. Night stay in Leh.

Day 02 : Leh (Local Sightseeing Tour) (105 KM / 5-6 Hrs.)

After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for Sindhu Darshan by car and about 7 kms from Leh on the bank of the Historical Indus River. Later visit Thiksey Monastery located on top of a hill; the Monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture which contains several Stupas, Statues, Thangka, Wall Paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha’s teachings. Then drive to visit Hemis Monastery, built in 1630 and it houses some beautiful Wall Paintings, Thangka and several other historic objects. Return back to Leh. Night stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh to Khardung La to Leh (50 KM / 2 Hrs. One Way)

After a relaxing breakfast in the hotel, proceed for Khardung La pass. World’s highest motorable road at 18380 feet. Explore the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardung La Pass (18,390 feet). Then return to Leh and the day free to explore the local Leh market at one’s disposal. Night stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh

Early morning transfer to Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport). with sweet memories of Leh Ladakh.
