Itinerary

Start your tour of Golden Triangle and Kerala by arriving at the Delhi airport, from where you would be taken to hotels that had been booked beforehand. Check in the hotels and attend the small session where you will get a small debriefing about the tour. 

Do whatever you feel like for the rest of the day. 

Rest and relax at the hotel for the rest of the day, or explore some parts of Delhi.
The second day of the Golden Triangle and Kerala Tour is surely a lovely one, just like the city of Delhi

You will visit places such as the Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk market, Birla Mandir, the India Gate and the President's House. Your day will start by visiting the beautiful Birla Temple of Delhi, which is adorned with the Hindu Gods Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Both of these are really important in Hindu culture. 

The next place to visit is the world’s largest brick minaret, the Qutub Minar. This 5 storey minaret, which is made out of red sandstone and marble is a UN World Heritage Site and will surely mesmerize you. 

After that, go to one of India’s largest mosques, the Jama Masjid. This amazing Islamic architectural marvel can hold about 25000 people in one go. 

From there, Delhi’s most famous market known as the Chandni Chowk is very nearby. 

You can go there and do some shopping, after which the next destination to visit is the Red Fort. This mesmerizing structure was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Every year, the Prime Minister of India hoists the Indian flag from here on India’s Independence Day. 

After this, head on towards the Connaught Place and have a fulfilling meal there at one of the many amazing restaurants. 

From here, the tour goes to the Rashtrapati Bhawan, or the President’s House. It is the official residence of the President of India which was built in the 1940s and 50s. Nearby this is the India Gate, a monumental archway that was built by the Britishers to commemorate their dead soldiers from the 1st World War and the 3rd Afghan War. 

As soon as this tour completes, proceed for Jaipur. 

On arrival at Jaipur, have assisted check-in to the hotel, where you will have your dinner and will be staying overnight.
The city of Jaipur is one of the best places to be in when you’re touring India. 

In this Golden Triangle Tour with Kerala, you will be going to Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Birla Temple, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort etc. and experiencing its cultural beauty and the bustling markets. 

Start your day by visiting the beautiful Amber fort, which is about 11kms away from the main Jaipur city. There, visit the Ganesh Pol, Sila Devi temple, Diwan-i-Aam, Sheesh Mahal, and Baradari pavilion. The fort offers both Elephant and jeep rides in the morning. There is also a beautiful lake right at the foot of the fort. 

From here, the Jaigarh fort is nearby. The Jaigarh fort was built so as to keep the city safe from invaders. Here, you can see a very beautiful view of the city and even click some amazing pictures. 

After this, visiting the ‘Palace of Wind' or the Hawa Mahal is on the list. This beautiful red sandstone palace was built so that the Queens and princesses can overlook the markets of the city. Jantar Mantar is the next place for the tour to visit. It is an astronomical observatory which has some really precise astronomical instruments which the king of Jaipur got constructed. 

The Birla Mandir, also known as the Laxmi Narayan temple is the next destination to visit. It is a beautiful modern day structure built out of white marble, the same as the Birla Mandir in Delhi. 

The next place that the tour will head towards is the Jal Mahal. It is a beautiful palace situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, which mesmerizes both your body and spirit. There are fish and ducks in the lake which you can feed. 

From here, depart towards the Nahargarh fort, which is situated on the amazing Aravali Hills and contains a beautiful palace, plus a very beautiful museum. 

In the evening, go downwards to the main Jaipur city to explore the famous Johari Bazaar and the Bapu Bazaar. Here, you will see the heritage handicrafts and traditional jewellery of Jaipur. You can also buy something from these colorful markets. 

As night time approaches, the tour will go to Chokhi Dhani, a traditional village area cum restaurant where you will be provided with a very traditional cultural village experience in terms of food, music, dances, your surroundings and other such things. It is going to be a great night. 

After the day is over, head to your hotel and stay there overnight.
On the morning of the fourth day of the tour of Golden Triangle and Kerala, head towards the city of Agra from Jaipur by road. 

On the way, make a pit stop to the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, which once upon a time was the capital of Mughal India. There, explore places such as the Jama Masjid and tomb of Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chishti. Another famous monument which you should see here is the 'Buland Darwaza’. It is a gigantic gateway which was built by Emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. 

After this, get back on the road for Agra. As soon as you reach Agra, check in to the hotel and rest for a while, after which start your tour of Agra and its monuments. 

From here, the first destination is the Taj Mahal, an epitome of love and romance. This white marble structure, the first wonder of the world was built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal on the bank of river Yamuna. It is also her mausoleum. 

After this, visit the Agra fort, a fort similar in many ways to the Red Fort in Delhi, and Agra's Jama Masjid, a huge Islamic structure also built by Shah Jahan. In the remaining time, head towards the century old Mughal gardens, which contain an amazing blend of Persian and Mughal architecture. 

Stay overnight in your hotel in Agra.
On the fifth day of the Golden Triangle and Kerala Tour, depart for the city of Delhi in the morning by road. 

While on the road you can also visit Sikandra, the place where the Mughal emperor Akbar's burial site is situated. 

You can also visit Itimad-Ud-Daulah, which is also known as baby Taj due to its similarity with the Taj Mahal. 

When you arrive in Delhi, check-in to your hotel and do anything you want for the rest of the day.

The sixth day of your Golden Triangle Tour with Kerala is the day when the Kerala part of your trip starts. 

It is going to be an experience filled with the beautiful bounties of nature.

Stay overnight in Trivandrum.

The eighth day of your Golden Triangle and Kerala Tour will be a really interesting one. 

In the morning, check-out from the resort and head to the beach to board a traditional houseboat. You will be sailing through some of the most beautiful water bodies in the world. 

You will be surrounded by colorful birds, groves of coconuts and forests of pine trees, all adding to the charm of your boat ride. Have a nice time while travelling through the authentic traditional villages of Kerala and seeing the people indulge in their daily work. 

Have your dinner on the boat and enjoy the starry night sky while being in the backwater houseboat, where you will be staying overnight.
In the morning, as you wake up you will see that you have reached the city of Cochin via your backwater houseboat. 

Get off your boat and check in to your beautiful beachside hotel. Have a nice rest at the hotel.

There are a lot of famous sites to visit, such as a Jewish Synagogue that has been in operation since 1568. Then there is Church, the oldest European church in India, Mattancherry Palace or the Dutch Palace showcasing the excellent murals and palanquins, and Bolgatty Palace

 You can also have an amazing cruising experience at the marine drive and watch the beautiful Chinese fishing nets that are suspended in mid air.

Stay for the night in Cochin.
The tenth day of the tour of Golden Triangle and Kerala has you travelling from Cochin to Kumarakom via road.

Kumarakom is a very beautiful village that is situated on the seaside. It is full of coconut groves, roads lined up with pine trees and some really beautiful bodies of water where you could take some beautiful walks. 

Then there’s also Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary on the bank of Vembanad Lake, where you can take a boat ride and spot some of the rarest birds of India. 

Stay for the night in Kumarakom.
On the eleventh day of your Golden Triangle and Kerala Tour, you will be starting with a boat ride, after which you will be leaving for Alleppey via road. It is going to be a very beautiful drive, which you will enjoy thoroughly. 

Check in the hotel as soon as you reach Alleppey. There are a lot of heritage sites that you can visit, such as Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple, St. Mary Forane Church, etc. 

There are a lot of beaches here too such as Andhakaranazhi Beach, Marari Beach and Alappuzha Beach where you can have a comfortable, relaxing time and have fun with the water sports on the beach. 

Have a fun overnight stay at Alleppey.
